A roughly 2.6 km long adventure trail above Gurtnellen-Wiler, which leads through the forest, over stairs and past waterfalls to the chapel in about 1-1½ hours.
The path is family-friendly and well-secured.
Route & Highlights
- Start: At the hiking trail towards Stäubenwald Chapel.
- Through "hollow alley" and "Dachsäwäldli".
- Via the "lower Wildbach footbridge" to the impressive Dreistäuber waterfalls.
- Onward to the viewpoint at the Stäuben Chapel high above the rock.
- Return route along the gorge and through nature back to the starting point.
