Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all reservations, bookings, overnight stays, services and offers of the Hotel Sternen Gurtnellen.<br>By booking, guests accept these terms and conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Contract conclusion \/ booking<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A contract is concluded as soon as the hotel sends a booking confirmation by email, in writing or verbally.<br>The hotel reserves the right to refuse bookings without giving reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Prices &amp; Payment Terms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include statutory duties and taxes, unless otherwise stated.<br>The hotel may require a deposit or full prepayment.<br>Outstanding amounts must be settled no later than at check-out (cash, debit\/credit card, if accepted).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Arrival and departure (check-in \/ check-out)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Check in:<\/strong> from 3:00 PM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Check out:<\/strong> until 11:00 am<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier arrivals or later departures are only possible by prior arrangement and may incur additional costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Cancellation Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless otherwise communicated at the time of booking, the following rules apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Free cancellation:<\/strong> up to 48 hours before arrival<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cancellations less than 48 hours before arrival:<\/strong> 100 % of the booked stay<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No-show:<\/strong> 100 % of the total amount<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Group bookings, special rates or events may have different cancellation policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6. Guest&#039;s Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The guest is liable for all damages caused by him, his fellow travelers or his visitors.<br>Damage to hotel inventory will be fully billed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7. Hotel Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hotel is only liable for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct.<br>No liability is assumed for valuables unless they have been expressly handed over for safekeeping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. Use of the hotel rooms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rooms may only be used by registered persons.<br>Bringing your own cooking, heating or other equipment is prohibited.<br>Smoking is in <strong>strictly forbidden in all rooms<\/strong>; Violations will result in a cleaning fee of at least CHF 150.\u2013.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case of significant damage or removal of hotel room items such as hairdryers or toiletries, the costs will be charged to the guest&#039;s credit card.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9. Guest liability \/ Damage to hotel inventory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The guest is liable for all damages caused during his stay by him, his fellow travelers or visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>significant damage<\/strong> or the <strong>unlawful removal of hotel room items<\/strong> (e.g., hairdryer, towels, toiletries, furnishings) will be provided to the guest. <strong>Repair or replacement costs<\/strong> billed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hotel is entitled to these costs <strong>to directly charge the stored credit card<\/strong>..&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10. Force Majeure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the event of circumstances beyond the hotel&#039;s control (e.g. natural disasters, pandemic-related restrictions, official measures), the hotel may withdraw from the contract without the guest being entitled to any compensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11. Pets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pets are only allowed by prior arrangement.<br>Additional costs or cleaning fees may apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>12. Data protection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personal data is processed exclusively within the framework of legal requirements.<br>The full privacy policy can be viewed on the hotel&#039;s website or requested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>13. Jurisdiction &amp; Applicable Law<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swiss law applies.<br>The place of jurisdiction is 6460 Altdorf, insofar as legally permissible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>14. Final Provisions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions, and such changes will be communicated on the website or at check-in.
